Gosh.... That speech on the 2nd panel could come from a friend of mine.
On the other hand, there has to be a balance: Porn is for fapping or at least getting you into the mood. Therefore, too much story and too little erotic activity is also not good, you get a movie that's only for adults but fulfilling the porn-purpose, or not enough.
(Once in a while this happens to comics, too... starting out rather porney, then the story somehow makes other things more important and the porney bits drown out. Not sure about such a thing.)
On the other hand, a movie that contains uncensored erotic scenes in a casual way can be great. I may have seen one but I can't remember what it was. In comics, the best example I know to date is the "RockCocks".
Tl;dr, I'm much on Owen's side. And I know someone else in person who would be, too.
Yeah that's true, I also believe a good balance of both is best.
As for comics, I remember reading some like that too actually, but I can't for the life of me remember the names... I had a list of them somewhere, hopefully I can find it.
Hmm never heard of "RockCocks," I'll have to check it out sometime. :D
Oh right also the thing under his eye is supposed to be a scar, perhaps I'll fiddle with it a bit to make it look less like a nose shadow.

Ahh :) - thank you! The biggest problem is IMHO ATM that it changes shape: On the first pages it's rather slim (and looks like it could be a nose shadow), on the latest pages it's wider and now looks less like a shadow. (I suspected it was a tattoo, because now it looks much like the card symbol. Or perhaps a birth mark. To make it look more like a scar... hmm... maybe if you remove the outline and only leave the hatching? I'm just imagining...
About the scar changing shape, that's very true! Recently I've actually been touching up old pages to be more consistent (First ten done!) with my current designs. That includes Owen's scar. While I'm still looking to make it more consistent overall, it should be much better now.
Good idea, I've been looking into making the outline of the scar less visible and experimenting with the hatching to give it a bit of depth. If it ends up looking better without the outline I'll end up removing it as you suggested. :p
And now for something completely different: Up until this page (OK, I became unsure some pages ago) I thought that the diamonds-like mark under Owen's left eye was the shadow of his nose. But that seems unlikely now - so what is it??
